Staircase3D stores account information, listing content, selected market areas and billing references needed to provide the professional listing service.

Location

The iOS app may use a device coordinate to identify a market area. The coordinate is used for the lookup and is not stored in the marketplace database.

Project delivery

If a listed professional has enabled project delivery, tapping its linked card can send the staircase's complete editable input and general dimensions through Staircase3D to that professional's approved API. Project images, notes, archived parts and 3D mesh data are not included, and the project payload is relayed without being stored in the marketplace database.

For abuse prevention, Staircase3D temporarily stores a one-way hash derived from the sending IP address, the listing identifier, delivery status and timing metadata. A delivery identifier may be added to the professional's website link.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Staircase3D stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, not payment-card details.
